Please join us TODAY, Saturday, October 14 for Kids Safety Day at Mill Plain Independent Hose Company, #12's for Mill Plain Fire Department Fire Prevention Open House from 1:00-4:00pm.
Danbury, CT Elks Lodge No. 120 is proud to be part of this special day to celebrate Fire Prevention Week and fire safety as part of "Kids Safety Day". Several of the Lodge's committees are participating, including the Major Projects Committee, Drug Awareness Program, Americanism Committee, Elks National Foundation Scholarship Committee, Public Relations Committee, and others. Thank you to Eric Svege, member and past Chief of the MIll Plain Fire Department, and Past Exalted Ruler (PER) of the Danbury Elks Lodge, for facilitating this partnership.
The Danbury Elks Lodge will also be sharing Elks Drug Awareness Program (DAP) educational information, coloring books, bookmarks, upcoming contest information, scholarship information and much more, with a possible appearance from our beloved mascot Elroy T. Elk! :) The event will also include seat belt safety tips, Halloween safety tips, smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, fire truck rides, and much more. Fun for all ages!
