This morning at the Danbury Fair Mall, there was Strength in Numbers as the Women's Center of Greater Danbury hosted their annual fundraising SafeWalk. The walk brought hundreds to the Mall to support the tireless and numerous efforts by the Women's Center to provide services to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
The Women's Center released this thank you on their Facebook page, "We had an awesome crowd at our SafeWalk this morning, cozy & dry in our great new venue! Many thanks to everyone who so generously supported us, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and walkers, and congratulations to our special honorees." But in truth, we should be thanking them for all they do for Northern Fairfield County and beyond.
