Grief Support and Lecture for the Holidays

The Goldstone Caregiver Center at Danbury Hospital Presents Lecture on Dementia and Grief Support Group on Coping with the Loss of a Loved One During the Holidays

In recognition of National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month and National Family Caregiver Month, The Goldstone Caregiver Center at Danbury Hospital will present a lecture on “Knowledge is Power:  Planning for the Future When Your Loved One Has Dementia.” The program takes place on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Robilotti Conference Room at Danbury Hospital.

Featured speakers on November 30th will be Eva Brescia, LMSW and Ann Fowler-Cruz, JD, CELA. They will discuss the legal concerns associated with caring for someone with dementia as well as community resources available that can provide guidance when encountering difficult situations. Attendees will also learn about differentiating between the various aspects of advance directives.
