The Women’s Center offers Divorce Support Group for Children & their Parents

The Women's Center offers a 7-week program geared to help recently divorced and/or separated families build new beginnings in a safe place for learning, support & healing. Groups begin February 22 at 6:30pm.

The closed, facilitated support groups for children ages 6-9, 10-13 & 14-1 and offered in conjunction with required corresponding groups for parents.

Group topics include:

  • Family changes
  • Feelings
  • Having two homes
  • New Relationships
  • Communication

The support groups meet Monday evenings, February 22 – April 4 * 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Registration is required by February 15th.

The Women’s Center provides free and confidential services to prevent or lessen the trauma associated with domestic violence, sexual assault and other major life transitions to thousands of women, children and men annually.

The Women's Center is located at 8 West Street in Danbury.
