Noteworthy Chocolates has published the first short story ever to be printed in chocolate. Titled “A Girl’s Best Friend”, the short story is written by Theron C. Barger, author of the Forsaken Repose universe of horror fiction and is about a girl who receives an enchanted bar of chocolate. The story, laser printed on four separate pages of Noteworthy Chocolates innovative chocolate stationary, will be released one page at a time on their Facebook page at 8:00pm beginning on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 with the final page and book cover posted on Thursday, May 12, 216.

Noteworthy Chocolates combines cuttingedge laser technology and premium chocolate to create custom books, messages and art engraved into chocolate. The company has raised over $24,500 through a Kickstarter campaign. They work out of the Danbury Innovation Center and have until May 15, 2016 to raise $27,000 to fund their move into a production facility of their own.

Founders Michael and Jennifer Sauvageau reside in Bethel CT and are serial entrepreneurs that have owned a lawn care business, a toy business, traveled the country performing and teaching at renaissance fairs, and are now innovating chocolate gift giving.
