Sometimes i need to share book plans here so that they actually happen. For over a year, one of my children has been telling me repeatedly that I *need* to read "The Land of Stories" by Chris Colfer. She adores this series, and I often hear her recommending it to friends.
I love watching her face light up when she talks about this series. I love that she reminds anyone to whom she recommends it that it takes a few chapters for the story to build up, but by chapter five, you will be pulled into the story unable to put it down. I love that she looks up the release dates of the newest books and counts down the days. I love that she begs to pre-order the next book.
So while my "to be read" list is rather long, and this book has been sitting on the list for a while, I think "The Land of Stories" will jump over a few to make it closer to the top. I will be reading this book very soon.
