Danbury Glass Artist Exhibition at White Silo Farm & Winery

The gallery at the White Silo Farm & Winery, 32 Route 37E in Sherman, Connecticut, will host a solo show of the glass artwork created by Danbury artist Maryann Meken-Silvesrti.

The work includes kiln formed wall panels, tableware, jewelry and other objects d'art.

An artist's reception will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The show will be open on Friday, October 4, and continue through Sunday, Oct. 27.

The gallery is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

From Chair-ish the Arts, Maryann Meken-Silvestri is a fused glass artist who currently operates The Eclectic Glaziery, her studio in Danbury, Connecticut. A former Public School art teacher, she holds a BS from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and a MS from Western Connecticut State University. Additionally, intensive study at Hot Glass Horizons in Corning, NY, San Francisco Glassworks II, The Brookfield Craft Center as well as private instruction continues to expand creative possibilities. She has exhibited her work in various galleries, universities, art associations, and charity shows in Connecticut. Her work has been included in private collections around the United States and in Europe.
