Broadview Middle School, your beautiful home and fun learning!

As is tradition, the 8th grade students of Broadview Middle School will be taking a field trip to Washington, D.C. this Spring. Students will have 4 days of guided tours and will explore museums, monuments, and sites like Arlington National cemetery and the Annapolis Naval Academy. My children had great fun and learned a lot when they made the trip. All 8th graders are encouraged to participate and in an effort to keep costs as low as possible the students hold a number of fundraisers throughout the school year.

A few of the fundraisers have already happened but as we approach the holiday season students, with the help of their parents, will sell wreaths and Poinsettias. The last day for ordering is November 15 with pickup at Dom's Garden Center, at 49 Padanaram Road in December. Consider purchasing one of your holiday decorations from an 8th grade Broadview student.

All of us benefit when learning can be fun and learning American history in and around our Nation's capital is an opportunity that shouldn't be missed. Students get a fun learning experience they will remember for a lifetime and you get a beautiful decoration for your home from a local business, Dom's Garden Center.
