CT Audubon Society is hosting an amateur photo contest

Greetings from The Connecticut Audubon Society in Glastonbury!
The 2016 OUR NATURAL WORLD amateur photo contest and sale is just around the corner.

All ages are welcome!

We will be accepting entries January 12-16, 2016, from 1-5 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The opening Reception is set for Friday, January 29, from 4 - 7 p.m. (snow date Sunday, January 30, 4-7 p.m.). Tickets are $5 and each entry receives a complimentary ticket.

The show itself will run from February 2 through 27, 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays and 10-5 on Saturdays. A $3 donation is requested.

Official rules, including maximum sizes, entry forms and other information, can be found in the 20th Annual Photography Contest & Sale publication. Information is also available on our website.

For this 20th annual contest we will again have a separate division for teens, and a cash prize for the top winner in each adult and teen division (Pre-teen photographers should submit their entries with NO matting or frames).

A Photo Critique & Tea will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, led by Gary Melnysyn, one of this year's team of judges. He will be open to questions from exhibitors about their submissions and will offer suggestions regarding ways to improve one's work from an artistic point of view. Cost for the Critique and Tea is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

For questions contact Duffy Schade at duffy@goodalehillpress.com or call us at (860) 633-8402.

We're looking forward to seeing your entry in the 2016 contest!
