Josephine M. (Romano) Gentile, 87, of Danbury, formerly of Stamford, wife of the late Nunzio L. Gentile and mother of Frank L. Gentile (Annalisa) died on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Maplewood of Danbury. Graveside funeral services and burial will take place on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. in St. John's Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave., Darien. The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Contributions to Regional Hospice and Home Care, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT 06810 would be appreciated.
