Free Senior Support & Lunch for Danbury Seniors

Older adults and their family members face a unique set of obstacles in dealing with the effects of increased alcohol and prescription drug use. For some, the aging process coupled with the loss of structure can intensify feelings of uncertainty.

Senior Support & Lunch is a lunchtime group for older adults in the Danbury Community. The group is ongoing, free-of-charge and facilitated by a licensed counselor, Shelly Fisher, MS, LADC. The focus of this small informal group is to provide support for older adults who are concerned about their use of alcohol or prescription medications, as well as support with issues associated with aging.

Whether you are concerned about a friend, a loved one or yourself, we hope you will join us for this ongoing informative lunchtime support group.

Senior Support meets every Wednesday at 12 noon.
