Genevieve "Jennie" (Batory) Valeri, 97, of Danbury, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday morning, January 16, 2018 at Danbury Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury. Burial will take place in St. Peter Cemetery at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5pm to 7 pm.
