Z Hospitality Opens 8th Restaurant in Danbury

Terra Ristorante, a renowned Northern Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Greenwich opened Tuesday in Danbury CT.

Over twenty five years ago, Founder and Owner, Ramze Zakka, opened Terra Restaurant, the first of his eight eateries, to fulfill his dream of owning a restaurant that offers simple yet delicious food in a warm and inviting environment. His vision was to offer a more relaxed alternative to the already existing white glove and fast casual restaurants. His goal was to open a bistro that introduced authentic Northern Italian food where guests would feel like they were transported to Florence for a genuine dining experience. Everything from food and beverages to Italian servers and music has been carefully curated to achieve this goal.

The Executive Chef of all eight restaurants, Albert DeAngelis, will lead the culinary efforts in Danbury. His menu will include signature dishes: Pizzas and wood-oven cooked dishes, homemade pastas, American Waygu Beef Carpaccio with white truffle oil, Milk-Fed Veal Milanese and Parmesan-Crusted Filet of Sole. Innovation has been the key to success in all Z Hospitality restaurants and Terra will offer the same unique and seasonal menus to continuously provide the most memorable dining experience.

The restaurant will feature an architecturally-designed dining room with vaulted ceilings and a floor to ceiling wall of glass doors that allow for countryside views, natural sunlight and that open in the spring and summer months to enjoy an outside grill and bar. Inside guests will find their signature wood-burning oven, open kitchen dining area and an inviting bar where craft cocktails and an array of wines will be served.

“We are grateful for the ongoing enthusiasm in all of our lower Fairfield County restaurants and very much look forward to serving the northern part of the county as well as Westchester,” said Zakka. “We are thrilled to be able to offer something new and different to the community.”
