Grand Re-Opening Celebration at Gallery 25 at New Milford Train Station

Gallery 25 is excited to announce the gallery’s Grand Re-Opening reception, on Saturday, July 15th from 6PM – 9PM, in celebration of their new location at the historic New Milford train station. Refreshments will be served and many artists will be available that evening to discuss their works consisting of paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery, glass, fiber and more.

“We are so thrilled to be open in our new location.  It’s a beautiful space to showcase the artwork of some incredibly talented artists from western Connecticut.” said gallery Director Diane Dubreuil. “We couldn’t have made a successful transition without the vision and support of Mayor David Gronbach, Economic Development Director Kevin Bielmeier and New Milford Commission on the Arts. We are so grateful.”

"I am so happy with the work that the Commission on the Arts and the Gallery does in providing an outlet and a forum for art in New Milford. The new location is a great fit for our Downtown and I thank all of the people involved in moving and maintaining this ever evolving project. There is a small park to the side of the Station that would make a great sculpture garden. We'll see what next year brings!" said New Milford mayor David Gronbach.

With guidance from the New Milford Commission on the Arts, Gallery 25 was founded in the fall of 2014 as a cooperative-style art gallery representing local and regional award-winning artists and artisans. Gallery exhibitions, both then and now, include a wide variety of unique fine art and fine artisan creations in a wide range of media.

Renewing interest and growth in the local art scene is a priority of the gallery and its member artists.

Gallery 25 is conveniently located at 11 Railroad Street at the historic train station in New Milford, Connecticut (http://newmilfordgallery25.blogspot.com). Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm, or by appointment (phone 860-355-6009). Admission is free. Ample free parking is available.
