On Monday, July 17th from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 please join Hodge Insurance and Ms. Schosser for an artist’s reception. Hodge Insurance is located at 283 Main Street in downtown Danbury. Parking is available at the Patriot Garage or along Main Street. Hodge Insurance offers a variety of personal and business insurance and has been part of the Danbury landscape since the early 1900’s. They have also been, and continue to be, a local venue for many local artists.

Ms. Schosser, a local resident for over 25 years, envisioned creating art over ten years ago with a unique medium, paint chips. In early 2016 she finally made her vision a reality and has been producing unique color work ever since. Her subject matter is both literal and abstract. All of her current work is done as 8” x 8” panels and involve hours of cutting and arranging to create color balance. Ms. Schosser, originally from the west coast, began her career as a fine artist receiving a BFA from the University of California at Berkeley. She went on to study Advertising at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena in California. After relocating to the east coast as an Art/Creative Director and living overseas in Southeast Asia, she returned to the Danbury area and changed careers leaving her love of art and music on hold.

Hodge Insurance is excited to host Ms. Schosser’s show and reception. Light refreshments will be served. If you wish to attend the opening reception, (or to inquire about purchasing any of the artwork on display), please contact schosserco@gmail.com

Ms. Schosser’s work will be on display through August 18th and is part of the Accessible Art Project 2017 from the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut. Over 31 artists are feature in the region with over 39 exhibits taking place over the course of 2017. For more information about the Accessible Art Project please visit www.artswesternct.org
