Litchfield Crossings Retains Charter Realty and Development for Continued Growth and Expansion

New Milford's largest shopping center poised for Growth Through New Partnership with Charter Realty and Development LLC of Westport

New Milford, Ct. Litchfield Crossings, New Milford's largest shopping Center, has entered into an agreement with Charter Realty and Dev, a full service commercial real estate company located in Westport, as its agency of record. It was announced by Kristen Gizzi, Executive Director of Litchfield Crossings. Dan Zelson, a founding principal, will be the exclusive broker.

Says Gizzi, “We are excited about the new strategic partnership with Charter. Through the innovative approach the firm has on development, we are looking forward to the continued growth of Litchfield Crossings.”

Charter has been representing retail and office tenants, landlords, investors and developers in leasing, sales and investments as well as the development and repositioning of properties since its founding in 1993. The company has grown to operate more than 70 locations on the East Coast of the United States, in a host of varying project platforms, centered around value added development.

Adds Zelson, who has accounted for the completion of 20 million square feet of new tenant leases for both Charter and third party properties, “We believe Charter’s partnership with the Gizzi family will be mutually beneficial both physically and financially. We are in the business of development, so we love to see growth.” 

Since its acquisition in 2013, Litchfield Crossings under the leadership of the Westchester based Gizzi family and its development company ECCO Development LLC has added lessees GNC, Petco, Webster Bank, Aber Nails and Panera to Litchfield Crossings retail family. ECCO Development, LLC owns and manages an impressive real estate portfolio throughout Westchester County. In addition to Litchfield Crossings, ECCO'S retail holdings include ECCO Plaza in Yonkers, Pawling Commons in Pawling, NY and 99 Business Park Plaza in Armonk, NY.
