Hockey is BACK at Wooster School!

After a forty year 'intermission', hockey is back at Wooster School. This past Friday the Wooster Generals hosted their first home game of their re-inaugural season.

The evening began with a ceremonial puck drop to commemorate the occasion. Both Matt Byrnes, Head of School, and Brian Hastings, Director of Student Life, were honored for their commitment to getting Wooster back on the ice.

From the opening drop until the final buzzer, the arena was filled with a sensational energy. A large, passionate group of students and faculty joined the standard cadre of friends and family to 'pack the rink' and cheer on their Wooster Generals.

The Generals fought hard but were overpowered by a strong Kingswood Oxford School team. The final score was 9-4. Senior Cole Hollett and sophomores Jack Caiola, Drew Greeley, and James Hoban scored for the Generals.

The team is coached by Rob Sutherland and consists of Wooster students from many local communities.
