Connecticut State Police received a stolen vehicle hit on a passing motor vehicle (License plate reader) LPR on I 84 westbound at exit 8 in Danbury. The vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Denver Colorado. The vehicle was stopped by State police off Exit 6 at the Gulf Gas station. Two occupants were detained. The driver, Christopher Taylor of Windsor Locks, was arrested and charged with theft. The vehicle was searched with assistance of a State Police narcotics K9 (black Labrador) and narcotics were found on the operator's person and inside the vehicle. The suspect was also charged with possession of narcotic (oxycontin pills), possession of marijuana < 4oz (THC Wax) and operating under suspension.
