There have been numerous Black Bear sightings throughout the City of Danbury.
If a black bear should be in your area, please take the following precautions: Do not attempt feed the bear. Store garbage bins and grills indoors. Please take down your bird feeder. Stay close to your pets when letting them outside. If you spot a bear, the best thing to do is create a loud noise which should scare them away.
