FREE Public Narcan Training in New Milford August 29th

In June we posted that a officers at a local police department completed training in the administration of Narcan. We also mentioned that many police officers, including those at the Brookfield PD, carry Opiate Overdose Kits while on duty.

From that post we received several comments from followers wondering if, and when, this type of training would be provided to the public.

The New Milford Substance Abuse Prevention Council and the New Milford Youth Agency has answered that request by sponsoring a FREE NARCAN TRAINING class on August 29 from 6:00pm- 7:00pm. They will also providing FREE Opiate Overdose Kits to those that attend and receive the training.

New Milford Substance Abuse Prevention Council and New Milford Youth Agency request that anyone interested in attending this training class, please contact Lindsey@youthagency.org or 860-210-2030 to reserve your seat for training.
