On Monday November 14, 2016, the Wilton Police Department received a complaint from Wilton Meadows Health Care Facility at 439 Danbury Road, Wilton, Connecticut, concerning inappropriate contact between a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and an eighty two year old female patient.
Through the course of the investigation, with full cooperation from the staff at Wilton Meadows, it was learned that the accused, Hunter Scott McGinty of Danbury, inappropriately touched the victim during the course of his duties. This incident was immediately reported by another CNA and the administrative staff contacted the Wilton Police.
The investigation identified a second female victim age 66, who was assaulted at the same facility during the months of August and September. As a Result, Mr. McGinty was arrested on two warrants. The first, Sexual Assault in the 4th Degree for the incident on November 14, 2016. The second warrant, Sexual Assault in the 2nd Degree (3 counts).
Mr. McGinty was held in lieu of $32,500.00 CASH bond and will appear in court for arraignment on Thursday November 17, 2016.
