FREE THURSDAY NIGHT CONCERT SERIES
He's a singer-songwriter. He's a guitarist, piano player and singer. He's entertainer Beau Badrick, the very first featured act at Western Connecticut State University (WCSU/WestConn) in the 15 week "Coffeehouse" events, each Thursday night on the midtown campus in downtown Danbury, CT.
"OPEN MIC" MUSIC AT 8, BEAU BEGINS AT 9
There will be an "open mic" hour with a wide variety of local artists starting at 8PM, followed by Badrick's performance at 9PM. Admission is free, although good will donations to help sustain the coffeehouse are welcome.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Badrick fine-tuned his songwriting skills by working side-by-side with songwriters who have written songs for Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, and many others. He also worked with former Rolling Stones producer Andrew Loog Oldham.

Every Spring and every Fall since 2005, the WestConn Coffeehouse series at WCSU brings to the Danbury area a wide range of musical performers from a range of styles and genres. Badrick is the first in a series of 15 weeks of Thursday evening musical performances including jazz, rock, R&B, blues, Americana, a capella and more.
Although the university is on White Street, the coffeehouse itself is held each week in Alumni Hall, located in a former church along Dr. James Roach Avenue, at the intersection of the Student Center and Higgins Hall buildings.

Feb. 6, The WCSU Jazz Ensemble
Feb. 13, WCSU alumnus Tyler Cohen, lead singer of the group Forget Paris
Feb. 20, blues, folk and Americana singer-songwriter Robinson Treacher
Mar. 6, New York progressive rock and metal band Valence
Mar. 13, folk/blues/country artist Susan Kane
Mar. 27, singer-songwriter/jazz pianist Emma Casagrande, a WCSU student-musician
Apr. 10, all-female a cappella group Martini Glass, featuring current and former WCSU student-musicians, and students from Danbury High School
Apr. 17, percussionist Reuel Camacho, a WCSU student-musician
