This looks like a fun afternoon event this weekend. I look to add a little bit of fine wine to my collection for hosting dinner parties!

The 2nd Annual Spring Palate Awakening will take place on Saturday, March 24th. Equinox Fitness in Darien will once again be hosting.
This year's event will feature over 70 wines from more than 10 different suppliers. Wines will range from the tiniest of productions like the Demuth Kemos Cabernet Sauvignon, to one of our hottest selling wines, The Pinot Project. It's a unique opportunity to hear about the wines we introduce to you directly from those that bring them to us. Of course, where there's wine, there should be food. Executive Chef Robert Troilo will be preparing samples from the Nicholas Roberts Gourmet Bistro spring menu.
This is the second largest fundraising event for Turning Wine Into Water, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean water and sanitation facilities to those that lack them in underdeveloped nations. As many as 26,000 children under the age of five die each day simply because they lack access to clean water. Each of these 26,000 deaths is preventable. We don't need to wait for a cure or a vaccine or a piece of cutting-edge technology. Clean water can be made available to those in need if WE have the will to make it a reality. But we can't do that without your help. And helping has never tasted so good.
