Members of the St. Thomas More Parish in Darien will be helping out this Saturday at the soup kitchen efforts of New Covenant House of Hospitality in Stamford.
St. Thomas More Parish has been a part of New Covenant House of Hospitality since it was started in 1978. New Covenant House is an ecumenical inner-city soup kitchen under the auspices of the Diocese of Bridgeport. Located on the west West Side of Stamford, it provides nutritious meals to the poor, the homeless, and the disadvantaged of lower Fairfield County. Catholic and Protestant Parishes from Stamford, Darien, Greenwich and New Canaan provide meals for the entire month.
