Stamford Athletic Competition Seeks to Benefit Region's Most Vulnerable Children

Gather your friends, family, and coworkers, and join us on Sunday, September 21st at Cove Park (@ 9 AM) for the 3rd Annual Domus NINER!

The event is a unique, challenging athletic competition benefiting our region’s most vulnerable children. Do hand-release pushups, burpees, plank, lunges, plus a run and swim, with your own personal judge to keep you honest. Do it individually or with two of your peeps.

Each individual participant is responsible for the following tasks in order. Teams must complete tasks in order, and each team member must individually complete two of the six tasks.

  • 499-yard Swim in Long Island Sound
  • 49 Burpees
  • 79 Hand-Release Push-Ups
  • 199 Lunges
  • 299 seconds of Plank Hold
  • 0.99-mile Run

Compete individually ($79) or in teams of 3 ($69 per person).

All proceeds go to support Domus programming and include an awesome NINER wicking shirt and individual and group prizes. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded in Men, Women, and Relay Team (all-male, all-female, and co-ed) categories. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Limited to first 200 registrants.

Volunteers needed! We need water station attendants, judges, registrars, a clean-up crew, and more. Sign up here.

About Domus

Since 1972, Domus has helped thousands of our region’s most vulnerable youth experience success. Our goal for the young people we serve is to create the conditions necessary for them to get on a path toward health and opportunity so they can engage and succeed in school and ultimately have satisfying and productive lives. Our programs—schools, community programs, and residential programs—lead youth to that path.
