FOX News CEO Roger Ailes to Speak at Family Centers Breakfast on June 25

On Thursday, June 25 at 7:30 a.m., Family Centers will welcome Roger AilesFOX News Chairman and CEO & Fox Television Stations' Chairman, as the latest speaker in its Titans Series.  The event will be held at the Stamford Mariottlocated at 243 Tresser Blvd. in Stamford.

Family Centers’ Titan Speaker Series brings America’s greatest leaders to Fairfield County for an intimate and captivating discussion.  Previous speakers have included Dr. Henry Kissinger, former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, FOX Business Network Anchor Maria Bartiromo and former CIA Director Jack Devine.

Drawing on his experience as the head of one of the nation's top-rated news networks, Ailes will provide his unique perspective on media, global affairs and leadership.

Tickets start at $100, and proceeds will support Family Centers’ programs that provide counseling and support to families and individuals experiencing a crisis.  Several exciting sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Since joining FOX News in February 1996, Ailes created FOX’s first weekly public affairs show, FOX News Sunday, which has one of the youngest median ages among the Sunday talk shows and is available nationwide.  Ailes also oversaw the successful creation and launch of FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX’s 24-hour cable news channel, the fastest growing news network in the country which currently reaches more than 90 million homes.  In January 2002, FNC passed CNN in ratings in all day parts and became the number one news channel in America.  In 2007 Ailes launched the Fox Business Network, a 24 hour financial news channel.

In 2005, Ailes was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of America’s Best Leaders.  He was also awarded The Media Institute’s Freedom of Speech Award, as well as the Radio and Television News Directors Association First Amendment Leadership Award.

Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization offering education and human services to children, adults and families in Fairfield County. More than 3,000 professionals and trained volunteers work together to provide a wide range of responsive, innovative programs.
