You make a difference. We fund a broad spectrum of needs to ensure the greatest benefit to our local community. Our 2015 grants will, among other initiatives, support job training so homeless men and women earn a livable wage; hire an education and employment specialist for those suffering from mental illness; enable local adolescents to get urgent mental health care in crisis situations and provide counseling at a substance abuse treatment center. With our "Eye on Darien" goal, we strengthen our town with programs and community events such as the Youth Community Fund, the Youth Asset Team, the Thriving Youth Student Survey, The Volunteer Recognition Lunch, and the DHS Volunteer Fair.
