College Tailgate Gala
Did you enjoy college? If so, then relive your college days at our College Tailgate Gala and help us to raise money to prepare the ABC Scholars for educational success. There will be food, drinks, dancing and entertainment by The Short Bus Band!!

Since its founding in 1981, the mission of A Better Chance Darien has been to provide talented young girls of color from inner cities a top notch high school education in preparation for college. For 34 years we have been dedicated to helping 45 scholars graduate from Darien High School and go on to earn four-year degrees from competitive colleges, changing the course of their lives, the lives of their families and future generations. In 2014 we moved the program into our new home at 103 Tokeneke Road. In our new location we will be able to expand the program to house and educate eight scholars each year. At our College Tailgate Gala we will be highlighting the colleges and universities our scholars have attended such as Columbia, Cornell, George Washington, Syracuse and MIT.
