Neilsen's Florists announced earlier this week on their Facebook page that they are bringing back their unique and creative fundraiser, "Bras for a Cause."
Ladies (and gentlemen!) We are back with Bras for a Cause this year and can't wait to see the talents of this years submissions. Support National Breast Cancer Awareness month and know that all of the proceeds from this fundraising event go to Paint the Town Pink, a fundraising initiative that supports important work in the treatment of and early detection of Breast Cancer for uninsured/underinsured women.
The local florist asks the community to get creative and decorate a bra in support of breast cancer awareness. The bra will then be judge at the "Grand Unveiling," Wednesday, September 30th. Last year's winner (pictured in the gallery) showcased a candy theme design that wowed the judges! The event is open to the public, with just a $10 donation that will go towards the fundraising initiative, Paint the Town Pink. This will come just in time, for October is "Breast Cancer Awareness Month."
