Friends Cole Concert: Vassily Primakov at Greenwich Library

Cole Concert: Vassily Primakov, world class pianist will perform selected works this Sunday, September 14 from 4 p.m to 5:30 p.m. He will perform works by Chopin including Ballade No.1 in G Minor, Op.23, Ballade No.3 in A Flat Major, Op.47 and Nocturne in C Minor, Op.48, No.1. Among his many awards and recognitions, Primakov won First Prize in the 2002 Young Concert Artists (YCA) International Auditions and in 2007 was named the Classical Recording Foundation’s “Young Artist of the Year.” In 2009, Primakov’s Chopin Mazurkas recording was named “Best of the Year” by National Public Radio.
