The Eagles were filmed in this rare summer 1976 concert that was part of their tour that year, as they filled stadiums across America and Europe with screaming fans and hit songs. The group became the biggest and most successful touring and recording act of the 70’s as the Eagles captured the hearts of fans with their unique style of country rock and ballads. Each member contributed songs to their ever-growing popularity. The songwriting of Don Henley and Glenn Frey became a winning combination during this mid-‘70’s period, but Joe Walsh’s guitar playing nearly steals the show with his songs, versions of his “Rocky Mountain Way” and “Funky #49.” Don Felder on guitar and Randy Meisner on bass complete the line-up of the group in this program, demonstrating why fans of The Eagles made them the top selling act of 1976. Some of the songs that will be featured will be “Take It Easy,” “Desperado,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Already Gone,” and “One of These Nights.” This full concert restoration came from several tape sources and features a re-mastered stereo soundtrack. As a bonus we will feature several pre-Eagles performances with The James Gang featuring Joe Walsh. In English | 110 minutes
