ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The perfect harmony and association with music about cars, girls, and the glories of California molded the image of The Beach Boys as a quintessential American band whose music seemed to embody the essence of summer and celebration of life. Therefore it should be no surprise that The Beach Boys were hired by the White House and Central Park, in NYC, for summer concerts year after year, along with other top-draw celebrities.
In this program, the goal is to focus on multiple performances of The Beach Boys from these programs. No sun block or bug spray is needed, as we cast off the winter doldrums and time travel back through films and videos to the 1970’s and 1980’s to remember The Beach Boys’ special magic. The line up in all of these performances includes Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, and Bruce Johnston.
This program is entirely from live concerts and hopefully will make you feel as if you are there. Not Rated | In English | 110 minutes
