Carol Loomis, Top Financial Journalist and Editor for Warren Buffett, to Deliver New Canaan Library's 2015 Conversations with Business Leaders Lecture

New Canaan Library’s annual Conversations with Business Leaders lecture hosts some of the business world's most successful, knowledgeable and dynamic individuals. In the tradition of other valuable Library lecture series, CWBL aims to keep individuals informed about the state of business and the economy, as well as share the speakers' insight on leadership and management expertise with members of both the non-profit and for-profit business communities.

Join the conversation on May 31, 2015 when Carol Loomis, renowned financial journalist and editor for Warren Buffett, will speak at New Canaan Library. In FORTUNE magazine's July 21, 2014 issue, the Managing Editor described Carol Loomis as “the longest tenured employee in Fortune’s history, and arguably the greatest business journalist of our lifetime.”

The event will be held at 4 PM in the Library’s Adrian Lamb Room. Seating is limited; early registration is advised, online at newcanaanlibrary.org or 203-594-5003.

In addition to her renowned  journalistic accomplishments, Carol Loomis brings a unique perspective to the CWBL lecture. In her long career, Loomis has quite possibly had more actual “conversations with business leaders” than any other journalist. During her years at FORTUNE, Loomis witnessed, and sometimes influenced, 60 years of business history.  She has interviewed many scores of business leaders of modern times,  recording their problems and successes through both smooth and challenging economic times.
