The Ridgefield Bernese Mountain Dog Parade Tradition Continues in Greenwich

The Ridgefield Parade Tradition Continues at Round Hill Community House in Greenwich on Sunday, October 11, from 1:00 – 3:00

Many of you know that there was some question about the traditional Ridgefield Berner Parade this year. We are happy to report that YES, it will take place, because our wonderful host family the Ballards have passed the torch, and the Berner flag, to BMDGNY.

We have renamed the parade The BernRR (Ridgefield to Round Hill) Picnic because we will be holding it at a different location in CT, and the event will have a slightly different feel. True to tradition, it will be held on Columbus Day Weekend, but for the convenience of all who come from long distances, we have chosen to hold it on Sunday, October 11, from 1:00 – 3:00. Our new venue will be the Round Hill Community House in Greenwich, CT. It is a beautiful dog-friendly facility and we can even be indoors if it rains! Click here for more information.

We are planning a number of fun and educational activities for this day. Please share with all your friends and we hope to see you there.
