On Thursday, September 29 at 7 p.m. the Darien Library will welcome Daphne Oz, New York Times best-selling author and Emmy Award-winning co-host of ABC’s The Chew. Daphne will be interviewed by Dan and Kristien Del Ferraro of OmNomCT.

In The Happy Cook, Daphne shares her favorite recipes for the whole day and the whole week, from Saturday dinner parties to quick-and-easy weeknight leftovers. She takes healthy essentials and creates crave-worthy meals without outlawing every last drizzle of oil, pat of butter, sprinkle of salt, or spoon of sugar.

Daphne Oz is the New York Times bestselling author of Relish: An Adventure in Food, Style, and Everyday Fun and the national bestseller The Dorm Room Diet. A graduate of Princeton University, she is the Emmy Award-winning cohost of ABC’s hit show The Chew and coauthor of the New York Times bestseller The Chew: Food. Life. Fun. She has been featured throughout the media, including the New York Times, Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, People, Good Morning America, and NPR’s Weekend Edition. She received her chef’s degree from the Natural Gourmet Institute and is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
