Golf Channel's David Feherty is Off Tour at The Ridgefield Playhouse on October 18

If you’re a fan of NBC Sports and the Golf Channel, you may have heard that unmistakable Irish brogue.  Golf analyst David Feherty can spice up any golf broadcast with his sharp wit and irreverent style.  The talk show host and sports broadcaster has made a name for himself as one of the most hilarious and irrepressible personalities in golf which has netted him a passionate following!

Now Feherty brings his one-man show “David Feherty Off Tour: Wandering Around on His Own” to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, October 18 at 8pm.  In this one night only event, which is sponsored by Golf Performance Center and is partially underwritten by Moffly Media and Silver Spring Country Club, he will undoubtedly talk about golf.

A former professional golfer on the European Tour and PGA Tour, Feherty has cutting-edge style full of great stories from behind the scenes.  But you don't have to be a fan of golf to be entertained by him. During his show, he also delves into his battle with alcohol and drug addiction. His struggles with bi-polar disorder and the dark places it took him….but always, there are wry one-liners punched in.  David Feherty is also The New York Times and Booksense best-selling author of A Nasty Bit of Rough, Somewhere in Ireland a Village Is Missing an Idiot, An Idiot for All Seasons, and David Feherty’s Totally Subjective History of the Ryder Cup.

For tickets (VIP Experience $195, All other seats $90), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org.  The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
