Marine & Coastal Opening Reception on July 9 at Rowayton Arts Center

The Marine & Coastal opening reception is now Sunday, July 9 (4-6pm) at the Rowayton Arts Center. 
and the Art Demonstration with William Duffy is also now on Sunday, July 9 (2-4pm). 

The “Marine and Coastal” exhibit opening July 9 is a very popular theme in the seaside village of Rowayton. The artwork, all by RAC Exhibiting Members, includes paintings, drawings, photographs and sculpture. The opening reception for this show is Sunday, July 9, 4-6pm and is free and open to the public. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet artists and view (and purchase) their art. Refreshments will be served. The exhibit judge is William Duffy. (Prior to the opening reception, William Duffy will be conducting an art demonstration upstairs in the Studio.) The Marine & Coastal Exhibit chair is Susan Leggitt and the co-chair, Marcy Juran. The exhibit will be on display until July 30.

For almost 60 years, the Rowayton Arts Center has been a cultural gem in the community. It is an exceptional gallery where regional artists may exhibit and sell their art as well as a wonderful venue for art workshops and classes. The RAC Art School offers classes to children and adults at all levels. The RAC Gallery and Art School are located on the bank of the scenic Five Mile River in Rowayton, CT at 145 Rowayton Avenue. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday: 12pm-5pm. Open Sunday in July and August: 1pm-4pm.
