Macy's Flower Show is in Full Bloom

You know it's spring in New York City when the Macy's Flower Show comes to town. I had the pleasure of visiting this annual event at Macy's flagship store in Herald Square and taking in the many blooms on display. This year's theme, Art in Bloom, salutes various styles of art -- from Classical, Pop, Abstract to Modern -- that have shaped culture over time.

Visitors of all ages can take in the beautiful arrangements of flowers and plants, as well as trees that adorn the store. These range from more common plants such as hydrangeas and kalanchoe to the more exotically named Prince of Orange Philodendron, Red Kangaroo Paw and Red Robin Begonias just to name a few. There are other themed displays that are sure to please, as well as floral-themed events for everyone to enjoy. The Macy's Flower Show runs until Saturday, April 4. For more information, click here.
