The Darien High School and Middlesex Middle School Jazz Ensembles and the Grade 5-6 Jazz Lab will present their annual “Evening of Sweet Jazz” fundraising performance event on Thursday, Feb. 11th at 7 p.m.at St. John’s Blanchard Hall, located at 1986 Post Road in Darien.
The event is open to the public. All are invited to enjoy an assortment of delicious desserts, coffee, beverages, a raffle for an acoustic guitar package and lesson generously donated by Crescendo Music and some exciting jazz performances.
Tickets for adults cost $15 for pre-sale/$20 at the door; tickets for students and seniors cost $10 pre-sale/$15 at the door. All proceeds will go toward funding band and jazz ensemble student activities. To purchase pre-sale tickets, please make checks out to “DHS Band” and return to Reva Corrigan, 1 Denhurst Place, Darien. You will receive confirmation by email. No tickets will be issued but a reservation list will be maintained at the door.
