Darien Chamber Awards Four Scholarships to Local Students

Each year DCC raises money for scholarship awards through various donations and events – primarily through the Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Benefit. The scholarships are awarded through the Darien Chamber Charitable Foundation.

This year the Darien Chamber was able to award four scholarships in total. Two were awarded to Darien High School Seniors- Tyler Grant (University of Connecticut) and Alyssa Findlan (Michigan State University).

The DCC Merit Scholarship went to Mackenzie Loughlin (Providence College) who is the daughter of Chamber member Dave Loughlin-Lawley Insurance. The STEM scholarship was awarded to Caitlin Ross (Columbia University Medical School), who is an employee at David Harvey Jewelers-a Chamber member as well.

The Darien Chamber is committed to taking a leadership role in promoting the business community and the quality of life in Darien. DCC is supported by Elite Sponsor Darien Rowayton Bank.
