Weekend Bridge Repairs along I-95 between Greenwich and Darien and Lane Closures on Merritt Parkway

Surveying Project Announced This Weekend

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has also announced that a surveying project will be performed on the Merritt Parkway Northbound in Greenwich, starting Saturday, April 29th.

Motorists can expect lane closures on the Merritt Parkway Northbound between Exit 27, Route 120A and Exit 33, Den Road in Greenwich. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.

Bridge Repairs along I-95 between Greenwich and Darien and Lane Closures on Merritt Parkway

 
The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that repairs will be performed on five bridges on I-95 Northbound and Southbound in Greenwich, Stamford and Darien starting Monday, May 1st.

Work is scheduled to occur Monday, May 1st through Friday, June 2nd. No work will be performed on Memorial Day Weekend. Regular work is scheduled from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Lane Closure Information


Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 4, Indian Field Road and Exit 13 US 1, Boston Post Road.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

  • Greenwich, Bridge under Riverside Avenue
  • Stamford, Bridge under Wilson Street
  • Stamford, Bridge under Maher Road
  • Darien, Bridge under Noroton Avenue
  • Darien, Bridge under Old Kings Highway
