First Annual Fairfield University Antique & Classic Car Show

Admire a wonderful variety of vehicles representing over seven decades of automotive history on the picturesque campus of Fairfield University. Bring the family to a summer car show located at the Regina A. Quick Center lot, Barlow Road entrance on Saturday, August 1st from 9 am to 3 pm, hosted by the Connecticut Seaport Car Club of Southport.

Feast your eyes on an exquisite gathering of exotic super cars that includes several seldom seen vehicles from a private collection. Included will be a pristine 1957 Bel Air, a 1958 Impala, a 1960 Impala, and a rare 1958 Corvette still in original condition. Marvel at a unique Amphicar that take take to land or sea, and another surprise vehicle to be announced at the show.

Experience a fabulous exhibit of truly vintage pre-World War II vehicles that includes an unrestored car celebrating its 100 year old birthday. Pose for pictures with antique vehicles. The car show provides a wonderful opportunity to spend a day with family and friends learning about the history of the automobile industry, reminiscing about cars we remember from our own past and just having fun!
Great oldies tunes played all day long by our Master of Ceremonies, DJ Seth Carley. Join a tribute ceremony with Color Guard for all veterans with a live performance of the National Anthem by singer Karen Milosky at noon. Honor your Dad, grandfather, son, husband or uncle by enjoying a fun-filled day together reminiscing, and creating new memories to cherish. 

Fun for children of all ages! Kids are invited to enjoy a variety of activities that include voting for the Kid’s Choice Trophy. Vote for your favorite vehicles. Partake in trivia games to win prizes. Other prestigious awards will be the First Selectman Choice Trophy that will be presented by Fairfield’s Mike Tetreau. There are 60 trophies that include the Fairfield University Trophy, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Best in Show trophies, Best Ford, Best Chevy, and Best Mopar.

Enjoy delicious food available for both breakfast and lunch provided by the Port Five Naval Veterans. Savor an ice cream treat from a genuine old time Good Humor Truck.
The first 200 car owners will receive a dash plaque and a goody bag. There is plenty of parking for spectators in adjacent fields, trailer offload and vendor parking. All Car Clubs are welcome with no cut off year. Vendors include the Fairfield Museum and History Center which supports automotive history.
