Walking Historical Tour of Darien

Join us at the Darien Historical Society for an easy, walking tour of town Tuesday, June 2nd at 3:30 p.m.

Hear the incredible tale of Darien's evolution from a simple farming hamlet to a much sought-after residential community filled with top-knotch schools and gracious homes. Members of the Historical Society will lead small groups through town, sharing stories of who we are what and makes our town so special. Maps and itinerary will be handed out for those who wish to self-lead.

The Darien Historical Society is located in the Bates-Scofield Homestead (c.1736) at 45 Old King's Highway North. This building houses both the museum and the library. The Homestead is a Classic Connecticut saltbox with period furnishings and a herb garden.; Museum tours are held Thurs. & Sun. 2-4. The library is open Tues.-Fri. 9-1.
