The Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County wishes to express its sincere thanks to the artists, sponsors, patrons, designers and the many local businesses and individuals for their support of the Junior League and our 22nd Art Show. Because of you, we are able to collectively strive to make our community a place where children grow up healthy and arrive at school prepared to succeed.
A women's leadership and volunteer organization, the Junior League has been making a difference in the greater Bridgeport area for more than 93 years. Our largest annual fundraiser, the 22nd Art Show, occurred April 4-6. With Fairfield's Burr Homestead serving as the canvas to showcase hundreds of pieces of original artwork from 132 professional artists, we were honored to host this beloved community event again this year.
Proceeds from the Art Show benefit our "Healthy Families, Healthy Futures" community projects impacting School Readiness in the areas of literacy, healthy lifestyles and hunger, to better prepare at-risk families and children in the greater Bridgeport area to succeed in school.
Proceeds also empower our 300+ members to be trained to collaborate with community partners to identify a community's most urgent needs and address them with relevant programs that not only improve lives, but also change the way people think

The opening pARTy was a big success, thanks to Rive Bistro of Westport, Two Roads Brewing Company, Brenne Whisky, many local businesses and individuals for their generous donations to the live and silent auctions, auctioneer John Shaban, celebrated Connecticut artist Anda Styler and photographer Mark Smith of Mark Smith Photography.
Art Show guests enjoyed many culinary treats, thanks to Taco Pacifico, The Cupcake Brake, LobsterCraft and Phil & Tom's Good Humor Ice Cream. We appreciate The Art Truck, Connecticut's only mobile art studio, for donating their supplies and services, giving children an opportunity to create their own masterpieces. Thanks to Fairfield University's Bensonians for their musical entertainment.
Thanks to these designers for their mantel vignettes which complemented the art on display: The Flower Basket of Westport, Melissa Makris Design for Living, Montage, Lion's Paw & Company and Tusk Home and Design.
Finally, our deepest appreciation goes out to the many Junior League members for their time and commitment to taking on the monumental task of organizing the Art Show.
