Nov. 16 Gospel Concert to Support Pancreatic Cancer Research

Chris Coogan and the Good News Gospel Choir will perform a benefit concert for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network of Bethel at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, at Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 149 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield. Admission of $20 per adult, $15 seniors or students and $30 for families of three or more will help raise funds to advance research, support patients and create hope for anyone facing pancreatic cancer. The concert will include solo performances by Barbara Zichichi of Stamford, Paula Darlington of Redding, Kathy Alexander of Fairfield and Choir Director Jason Terry of New York.
 
During this event, the Good News Gospel Choir will perform with the Talmadge Hill Choir (Darien) and BASIC:  Brothers and Sisters in Christ (Norwalk.)
 
The Good News Gospel Choir is a 40-voice, multi-dimensional singing group with members representing all of Fairfield County. The choir, under the leadership of musician Chris Coogan (Weston), performs at venues throughout the state of Connecticut.
