Milford, CT -- The Beth-El Center in Milford held its annual Spring Gala fundraiser at the Milford Yacht Club on Saturday, June 4th with over 130 people in attendance. The net proceeds from the event will be used to directly support Beth-El's programs that include shelter for single men and women and families with children and a soup kitchen that serves over 26,000 meals annually.
"The Spring Gala is our biggest fundraiser and it provides the Center with financial assistance that is so greatly needed," says Toni Dolan, Executive Director. "It's inspiring to see the incredible support that the community offers to help Beth-El Center continue its mission to help those in need."
The evening featured a former Beth-El resident and veteran who conveyed his story of homeless and how the program staff at Beth-El provided him with the resources and support to help him move forward.

Assisting event chairperson Kathleen Kennedy were Gala planning committee members Gail Utitus, Marcia Ivers, Pam Austin, Shaileen Landsberg, Monique Osborn, Eileen Schuman and Jennifer Chase.
