Near & Far Aid Announces Theme for 2017 Gala

Fairfield County, CT -- This week Near & Far Aid made an exciting announcement – the theme of the 2017 Spring Gala, taking place on March 3rd, will be “AN ULTIMATE ROOFTOP PARTY EXPERIENCE, WHERE THE SKY'S THE LIMIT”. The 22nd Annual Gala, which raises funds granted by Near & Far Aid to Fairfield County’s poverty-fighting organizations, will once again take place at the flagship Mitchells store in Westport, and promises to be a spectacular evening of fashion, dancing and fun.

“With this extraordinary event, the sky’s the limit,” said Gala Co-Chairs Jaclyn Gailhard Picarillo and Katie Dresch. "We will transport guests to the ultimate New York City rooftop party, complete with world-class food and drink, fashion show, luxury silent and live auctions, and a spectacular live concert, all while raising awareness and funds to help those in need in our area."

“The 2017 Near & Far Aid Gala at Mitchells is going to be a fabulous party and we're anticipating another record breaking evening,” added Joan Panagos, President of Near & Far Aid. “It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the money we raise goes to help fund programs that fight poverty and help improve the lives of those in need in Fairfield County.”
