Bridgeport, CT -- A “Fund Distribution Ceremony” for monies raised from the 2016 CT United Ride, CT’s largest 9/11 Tribute, was held at Vazzy's Brick Oven early Friday evening Oct. 21. The Ride event is the largest fundraising event in Connecticut for Police and Fire Fighters.
Fred Garrity Jr, Exec Director; Peter Carozza, President of The UPFFA of CT; Steve Michalovic, Exec Board of The UPFFA of CT; Special Guest presenter Alyssa Taglia Miss Connecticut 2016; and invited elected officials handed out the proceeds totaling $40,000.00 to more than a dozen recipients.
