Food For All Event: April 26

Norwalk, CT: Food Rescue US, the technology-fueled, direct-transfer food rescue organization dedicated to ending food insecurity in America, is thrilled to present their signature fundraising event, Food for All, this year presented by Whole Foods Market. The event highlights the Food Rescue US goals for the coming year, celebrates its accomplishments, and pays gratitude to the many volunteers and supporters who share in the desire to put an end to food insecurity in our community.

Food for All has become one of Fairfield County's most popular strolling, eating events and this year features the hottest restaurants and artisans on the local dining scene. This year’s craft cocktail bars will be presented by the mix masters of Match, Cask Republic and Room 112. Food Rescue US is grateful for the generous sponsorship of this year's event: Naming Sponsor Whole Foods Market, Northern Trust, MAV Foundation, Moffly Media, Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, Nestle Waters, CTbites and The Elizabeth and Joseph Massoud Family Foundation.

About Food Rescue US

Founded in January 2011, Food Rescue US is committed to ending American food-insecurity through direct-transfer food rescue. Established as a 501(c)3 non-profit food-rescue platform, Food Rescue US is focused on transferring healthy, usable foods to where it can help feed those in need. This volunteer-driven, technology fueled process coordinates with restaurants, grocers, bakeries, caterers and other food-service organizations who have foods destined to be thrown away and delivers the food to soup-kitchens, food-pantries and other hunger relief organizations who serve food-insecure individuals and families. Food Rescue US currently operates in thirteen locations and plans to be in 25 sites by the end of 2017.
