Westport, CT - The Westport Woman's Club presents SIP & SAVOR, its annual wine tasting fundraiser event, on Friday, October 27, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, at The Westport Woman's Club, 44 Imperial Avenue, Westport, CT. A wide variety of wines, provided by Castle Wine & Spirits, will be available for tasting and order for purchase, as well as an array of seasonal hors d'oeuvres by Westport's Gruel Britannia.
Profits from the evening will benefit WWC need-based college scholarships for Westport’s Staples High School Seniors and other charitable, educational, cultural and public health services in Westport and surrounding towns. Further, a percentage of any SIP & SAVOR wine orders that evening will be donated to the fundraising effort.
Event Co-Chairs Christina McVaney and Gloria Smithson suggest all bring their shopping lists and order needed wines for Thanksgiving, December holiday events, hostess gifts and gift giving and support this worthy cause.
The Westport Woman’s Club, organized in 1907, is a non-profit philanthropic organization dedicated to volunteerism and the raising of funds in support of the educational, charitable, cultural and public health services in Westport and surrounding towns.
